A workplace violence event is an intentional and unlawful use of deadly force by a natural person with the intent to harm which directly or indirectly results in Serious Bodily Injury or death to anyone on or within 100 feet of Premises for a lawful purpose. Disrespectful/discourteous
Verbally abusive

Constantly arguing with others/customers
Sending threatening notes to coworkers
Verbalizing wishes to hurt coworkers
Refusing to follow company policies
Stealing/destroying company equipment

Acting suicidal
Engaging in physical fights

Control Your Workplace Risk
Start with a totally secure workplace

Ensure that, before the employee walks out the door, their electronic and physical access to the workplace is disconnected. Obtain services of security personnel if feeling threatened.
